He possibly had a beard, wore a potato sack, and probably wore sandals. That's it! That's all we know. The silhouette of a bearded face has been discovered on a Washburn Dreadnought D46SP acoustic guitar in the Instrumental Music And Sound shop in Ludington, Michigan, USA. The face appears in the body's maple grain just below the bridge and, being bearded, the comparisons to Jesus were inevitable.

So I was reading how Ford's CEO is willing to take a annual salary of $1 if they receive loans from the government. But in the same article in Boston.com they mentioned how Ford was focusing on electric cars.
Ford says CEO will work for $1 to get gov't loans
DETROIT—Ford Motor Co. will tell Congress that it plans to return to a pretax profit or break even in 2011 when the Detroit Three automakers' CEOs appear before lawmakers this week to request $25 billion in government loans.
Ford CEO Alan Mulally said he'll work for $1 per year if the company has to take any government loan money.
After grilling the CEOs at hearings last month, Congressional leaders demanded plans from the automakers by Tuesday to show that they will survive if they get federal funds. The plan Ford submitted said the company will cancel all management employees' 2009 bonuses and will not pay any merit increases for its North American salaried employees next year.
The company also said it will sell its five corporate aircraft. The CEOs of all three Detroit automakers were harshly criticized during last month's hearings for flying to Washington in separate corporate jets.
Mulally said in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday that Ford will give much more detail to Congress than it did previously, and the company will emphasize the steps it has taken to cut its labor costs with the United Auto Workers union.
Mulally said Ford will seek $9 billion as its share of the loan money but may not need to use it. The Dearborn-based company has said it has enough cash to make it through next year without assistance.
As part of the plan submitted to Congress, Ford said it does not anticipate a liquidity crisis in 2009, "barring a bankruptcy by one of its domestic competitors or a more severe economic downturn that would further cripple automotive sales." The loan would provide a safeguard against worsening conditions, the company said.
The company said it will accelerate plans to roll out electric vehicles as part of its plan.
"We are going to do that across our product line," Mulally said in the interview.
The first plug-in vehicle will be a Transit Connect small van for commercial use in 2010 and a car the size of the Ford Focus compact the following year.
My question is why weren't they focusing switching to electric cars years ago? This mostly revolves around GM Motors, but Ford had its hand in it too.
The movie does a great job showing the cover up of the electric car. Oil companies were afraid to lose money so they attached car companies to their hips to crush the idea of the electric car.
What if US car makers said F. U. to Big Oil when they were developing the electric car? Do you think it would have hurt their sales? Did the automakers really think that consumers wouldn't be interested in something besides a gas powered car?
The electric car has been around for almost a 100 years, this is not a new invention. Nikola Tesla came up with the first electric car, along with a lot of other things. Electric cars are not some primitive technology that can only travel slow and have a short range. (Which is what the automakers want you to believe). They can actually out preform regular cars.

What I am trying to point out is the American car companies are late to the party. Instead of building a product that Americans could be using right now, they choosed the route of pleasing Big Oil. Car companies kept manufacturing huge gas swallowing machine. So when gas became $4 a gallon, no one wanted to buy their cars. Just think if ONE American car company came out with a electric car, lets say 5 years ago. They would have the #1 selling car in America, and probably would have bought out at least one or maybe even two of the other large American car companies.
So I really have no sympathy for the American car companies, let them suffer.
I am still fully believing that a major earthquake will hit somewhere in the world by the middle of next week. I was previous thinking that it would be somewhere in California, because of the recent earthquake drills preformed there. But I found this article pretty interesting warning of a large scale earthquake in the middle of the country. I had no idea the New Madrid Seismic Zone was so active.
Government warns of "catastrophic" U.S. quake
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - People in a vast seismic zone in the southern and midwestern United States would face catastrophic damage if a major earthquake struck there and should ensure that builders keep that risk in mind, a government report said on Thursday.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said if earthquakes strike in what geologists define as the New Madrid Seismic Zone, they would cause "the highest economic losses due to a natural disaster in the United States."
FEMA predicted a large earthquake would cause "widespread and catastrophic physical damage" across Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee -- home to some 44 million people.
Tennessee is likely to be hardest hit, according to the study that sought to gauge the impact of a 7.7 magnitude earthquake in order to guide the government's response.
In Tennessee alone, it forecast hundreds of collapsed bridges, tens of thousands of severely damaged buildings and a half a million households without water.
Transportation systems and hospitals would be wrecked, and police and fire departments impaired, the study said.
The zone, named for the town of New Madrid in Missouri's southeast corner, is subject to frequent mild earthquakes.
Experts have long tried to predict the likelihood of a major quake like those that struck in 1811 and 1812. These shifted the course of the Mississippi River and rang church bells on the East Coast but caused few deaths amid a sparse population.
"People who live in these areas and the people who build in these areas certainly need to take into better account that at some time there is ... expected to be a catastrophic earthquake in that area, and they'd better be prepared for it," said FEMA spokesperson Mary Margaret Walker.
As I have said in the past, I hope I am wrong. But if it does happen, I will be all over "I told you so".
I am sure you haven't noticed but there is a cool astrological event going on lately with the apex being tonight. If you have seen those two bright objects in the sky close to one another recently they are Jupiter and Venus. But tonight the moon will add a neat twist. A crescent moon will appear tonight and create a triangle between the three objects.

Well its almost Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays after the 4th of July and Cinco de Mayo. What's not to like, you eat a lot and watch football. It is also the one time of the year that I spend a lot time with my family, which is good. I don't see them enough.
However, I am one of those suckers that will be traveling tonight. I have a flight to Newark tonight. At one point in time I have flown into all the New York metro airports on the eve of Thanksgiving. Its just a shit show. Just way too many planes landing and taking off. Last year I sat on the tarmac for an hour and half staring at my arrival gate. There was just so many airplanes on the runway we couldn't taxi. You have no idea how frustrating it is to stare at your gate form a 100 yards away, and there is nothing you can do. Plus trying to explain this to my dad, who can't comprehend why the plane can't just pull right up.
But before I can leave I need to finish a shit load of work. Technically my work calendar year ends on December 2nd. Which makes no sense, because it began somewhere in the middle of January. So there is about a month and half from December to January where time doesn't exist. I'm bringing this up in the next meeting, because I hate illogical things.
