GILFORD, N.H. --
The Marine Patrol bureau says the crash killed 34-year-old Stephanie Beaudoin of Meredith. She was a passenger in a 37-foot powerboat boat that struck the shore of Diamond Island in Gilford around 2:30 Sunday morning. The boat's driver, 34-year-old Erica Blizzard of Laconia, suffered serious facial injuries. She is president of the New Hampshire Recreational Boaters Association and has testified in the Legislature against implementing a boating speed limit on the lake. Her father owns the Lakeport Landing Marina in Laconia. A second passenger, 34-year-old Nicole Shineopules of Burlington, Massachusetts, also was injured. |
So a women fighting to keep speed limits on boats dies in boat crash. For someone to die in a boat crash I would imagine that the boat would be going pretty fast. This is like my friend in high school who head of the local MADD, and always drove drunk.
